TREASURE TROVE TUESDAY Price $3.99. Value $22 - $24. These little coffee cups are so adorable, I love the little pedestal bases! Price $6 for all 5. Value $25 - $30. I found a whole set of vintage harlequin romance novels! I have no idea if they will sell or not but after doing a little research it looks as though they just might! DIY HOT TUB PRIVACY SCREEN I am finally able to start sharing that patio makeover I've been promising! It was a post I wrote for Wayfair's Ideas and Advice pages so I had to wait for the post to be approved and published on their site and that sometimes takes a while. HOW TO DIY A PATIO UMBRELLA COVER It consists of 6 triangles of fabric and then a little round top piece. I decided to remove these little pockets from the old cover and reuse them rather than make new ones. They hold the cover on the frame. They fit over the end of each spine of the umbrella frame. Once all the sections were sewn together it looked like this. DIY BUNNY ORNAMENTS FROM TOILET PAPER TUBES! Paint all the pieces inside and out with white paint. Trace all the pieces onto white scrapbook paper and cut them out. Use decorating chalks (or blush) and a cotton swab to add some pink inside the ears. Glue the tube slices to the paper pieces with white craft glue and allow them to dry. Glue the ears together at the base with hot glue. THE GREAT PERGOLA MOVE When the end of the pergola got to the last pole (like you see here) we would stop, pull that pole out and take it up to the front and put it in there. We just continued on like this and it worked like a charm!! We rolled it right over to this corner. We did have to do a little pulling and scooting to get it kitty-corner in the yard butthat
HOW TO DESIGN A LONG NARROW PATIO How to Design a Long Narrow Patio. I shared the lounging area a few weeks ago in my Spring Patio Refresh. You can see some of the posts that helped to create this relaxing area below: DIY Stenciled Concrete Patio. Pallet Patio Loveseat. Painted Exterior Patio UPCYCLED CUCKOO CLOCK This little bird was included. And this little bird nest with the babies was also included. Both pieces got a coat of yellow paint. Next, I needed a way to reattach the pendulum. I was able to remove a metal bar from the original clock mechanism to reuse. I added a bead of E-6000 glue to attach it and then I was able to hang the pendulumfrom it.

DIY SPRING NEST STARTER FOR THE BIRDS Here are the nest starter materials I used for my DIY version: Ribbon - only natural materials, no nylon or plastic. Pieces of yarn - cut very short. Colorful wool roving. Dryer lint - not if you use fabric softener sheets. Raffia. Sphagnum moss. Other options: Twigs from theyard.
UPCYCLED DIVIDED TRAY TO BEACH THEMED SHADOW BOX I found it at the thrift store, it was just $2.19! It has a divider that runs down the center and at first, I was thinking of just hanging it sideways like this and using it as a shelf but the straight sides and deeper tray area meant that it was a prime candidate to become ashadow box.
BACKYARD PERGOLA FIX-UP Backyard Pergola Fix-Up - Weekend Yard Work Series. Thursday, July 21, 2016. I have another backyard project to share. A friend and I knocked it out last weekend! When I bought my house (almost 2 years ago! Wow, how time flies!) there was this strange little structure right DIY VALENTINE TOILET PAPER TUBE GNOMES Tack in place with hot glue. Check the feet to see if the glue is dry, then trim the sock around the cardboard foot template. Glue the feet onto the bottom of the body with hot glue. Now for the nose. Gnome noses are partially covered with the hat so fold up the front of the hat and add a dab of hot glue. UPCYCLED TRAY TO BATHTUB SIDE TABLE Since I was repositioning the legs, I filled the old screw holes and painted over them. I am repurposing this into a bathtub side table so I measured the side of my bathtub to determine where the legs should be. My bathtub is 6" wide, so I measured and marked the center of the tray, then measured out 3" on each side of that center mark and DIY MACRAME KITCHEN CURTAIN Supplies Needed. Cotton Clothesline Rope. Tension Rod or Dowel. Scissors. Measuring Tape. It only takes a couple of simple supplies for macrame! After that, it's all knots!! To make a curtain like this, first measure your window, my kitchen window is 33 inches. The length you'll need for your window depends on how long you want the curtainto be.

DIY HOT TUB PRIVACY SCREEN I am finally able to start sharing that patio makeover I've been promising! It was a post I wrote for Wayfair's Ideas and Advice pages so I had to wait for the post to be approved and published on their site and that sometimes takes a while. Shoes are interesting to display too! These are displayed in a vintage metal cubby shelf. Source: Apartment Therapy via Rebecca Williams. INEXPENSIVE STORAGE CABINET REFRESH Wipe down the cabinet surface to remove any fingerprints or other dirt and dust. And you only need a few supplies: Peel and stick wallpaper. Razorblade. Scissors. Measuring tape. Wallpaper squeegee. Spray paint for the cabinet pulls. This was a super easy project, all I had to do was measure the cabinet doors, cut the peel and stick wallpaper DIY SPRING NEST STARTER FOR THE BIRDS Here are the nest starter materials I used for my DIY version: Ribbon - only natural materials, no nylon or plastic. Pieces of yarn - cut very short. Colorful wool roving. Dryer lint - not if you use fabric softener sheets. Raffia. Sphagnum moss. Other options: Twigs from theyard.
UPCYCLED CUCKOO CLOCK This little bird was included.
LAUNDRY ROOM MAKEOVER I decided to use the wall mural in the back of the open cabinets above the washer and dryer and the pegboard over by the back door. I also decided to paint. Here are the colors I chose. Dark Secret for the cabinets, the sides of the folding table that goes over the washer and dryer, and the back door; and Falling Snow for the walls and trim.
