EASY CANNED CORN RECIPE • LONGBOURN FARM Instructions. Drain off half of the liquid from the corn. Pour the remaining liquid and corn in a small saucepan over medium heat. It is really easy to bucket train a calf and it makes feeding time much quicker for you. HOW TO BAND A BULL CALF • LONGBOURN FARM First, find two panels or a gate against a building you can fold in almost totally in on themselves so they form an acute triangle, like in this photo. These ones actually were a little farther apart than I would have liked. You’ll push the bull calf up into the corner {or bribe him with grain 🙂 }. Cook until the beef is completely cooked through (160°F) and the onions are translucent. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Cut circles out of the pie crust, they should be about 4-6 inches in diameter. Drain off half of the liquid from the corn. Pour the remaining liquid and corn in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add butter, garlic, parsley (if using dried), salt and pepper. Place half of the berries (2 1/2 cups) in a small saucepan and reduce over medium heat for about 8 minutes. Combine reduced berries with the rest of the frozen berries, sugar, tapioca, zest, and salt. Place one of the pie crusts in the bottom of a pie plate. Pour berry filling into the pie plate. HOMEMADE BBQ DRY RUB RECIPE • LONGBOURN FARM A homemade BBQ dry rub recipe is a fantastic way to infuse BBQ flavor throughout your meat when cooking it on the grill. By rubbing it in and letting it marinate the meat for a few hours, you really allow the flavor to penetrate the meat and it just amps up the entire grillingexperience.
PERFECT PAN SEARED PORK CHOPS RECIPE • LONGBOURN FARM Place pork chops and marinade in zipper top bag and let marinate 6-24 hours. Heat a large skillet on medium heat 1 tablespoon of the olive oil until the oil is shimmering. Add half of the pork chops to the pan, letting the excess marinade drip off into the GARLIC & HERB BEEF TENDERLOIN RECIPE • LONGBOURN FARM Combine 4 tablespoons of the softened butter, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper. Spread butter mixture evenly over the entire beef tenderloin. Line a baking sheet with foil, place a wire rack over the top of the sheet and the tenderloin on top of the rack. Roast for 10 minutes. Lower the oven temperature to 450ºF and continue to roast until the BLUEBERRY SYRUP RECIPE • LONGBOURN FARM Blueberry syrup is an easy-to-make recipe that goes great with practically any breakfast food or dessert. In this case, we’re using it for pancakes or waffles, but don’t be afraid to get creative with it in other ways too. EASY TUNA MELT RECIPE • LONGBOURN FARM On a piece of aluminum foil, place about 1/4 cup of the filling onto the bottom hamburger bun. Top with cheese and the top hamburger bun. Wrap in the aluminum foil. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese ismelted.
