Gilles Dusein (1959-1993 ; mort du SIDA) J’ai eu la chance de connaître Gilles Dusein à la fin des années 1980, lorsque sa galerie, Urbi et Orbi, était située rue de la Roquette dans le 11 e arrondissement de Paris. J'ai tout de suite aimé la singularité de son programme, plutôt dirigé vers la photographie, et nous sommesvite devenus amis.

All of Philippe Thomas’ (1951–1995) work rests on a simple principle, established in the early 1980s: the person buying his works becomes their signatory. In fact, there are no works directly associated with his name. In this way, he carried into the field of art Pessoa’s concept of heteronyms, or alternative personas. Since its opening in 1994, the MAMCO Geneva (Musée d’art moderne et contemporain), has developed an original form of museography. Exposées depuis 1994 au MAMCO, entrées dans les collections du musée par donation en 2019, les œuvres réunies sous le label Collection Yoon-ja & Paul Devautour esquissent donc une cartographie des usages de l’art, de la rencontre des collectionneurs, en 1985, à leur séparation en 2004.
