EPIINTESTINAL 3D IN VITRO MICROTISSUES EpiIntestinal™ MatTek’s 3D tissue model of the human small intestine is our latest innovation advancing in vitro GI research worldwide. Allowing for physiological exposures and human-relevant endpoints, EpiIntestinal is being incorporated into pharmaceutical development programs across the globe. SKIN IRRITATION TEST (MTT ET-50) Skin Irritation (MTT ET-50) The in vitro EpiDerm MTT ET-50 assay is used as a screen to assign expected in vivo irritancy responses based on the time-to-toxicity (ET-50) results obtained with EpiDerm. This assay is also used to rank order test formulations according to their skin irritation potential. During product development of new personal care or cosmetic formulations, the skin irritation 50 MM DISH | NO. 1.5 COVERSLIP | 14 MM GLASS DIAMETER 50 mm Dish, No. 1.5 Coverslip, 14 mm Glass Diameter, Poly-D-Lysine Coated. MatTek’s 50 mm glass bottom dishes have low sidewalls, making them ideal for microinjection, and the dish covers snap securely to the bottom for atmosphere maintenance. Available in 14 mm and 30 mm glass culture surfaces, these dishes offer a large cellculture surface
SKIN IRRITATION TEST MEDICAL DEVICES (ISO 10993) A new skin irritation assay to test the irritation potential of medical devices has been developed by MatTek. A validation study conducted in 2016 and 2017 by 17 laboratories around the world resulted in an ISO guideline for testing medical device skin irritation potential using EpiDerm.
