Mild to severe menstrual discomfort or other disorders of the menstrual cycle are among the most common medical conditions in North America. The normal menstrual cycle can vary from 21-35 days, with a duration of flow from 2-9 days, and a 30-60 ml blood loss (1-2 ounces).
