MIKEHATTSU ANIME JOURNEYS: YOUR LIE IN APRIL In episode 6 of Your Lie in April there's some train crossings near Ōizumi-gakuen Station that are shown. These should not be confused with the train crossing near Kami-Shakujii Station that's also shown in the same anime. Image from Episode 6 - 09m20s. Road near the train crossing closest to Ōizumi-gakuen Station. Image from Episode 6 -09m12s.

This is the train crossing just to the east of the station building. MIKEHATTSU ANIME JOURNEYS: YUKI YUNA IS A HERO Since I had some extra time while visiting Shikoku I checked out the areas around Kan-onji Station which was shown in Yuki Yuna is a Hero. FRIDAY, JULY 26, 2019COMIC1 15
The final thing I checked out this time was Comic1 15. It's an event similar to Comiket, and just
like Comiket it took place at Tokyo Big Sight. It's a smaller event, so I got a better place in the queue than atComiket.
Still plenty of people though. The Comic1 catalog was also the ticket, so you just held it up at the entrance to show that you had one. Since it was a smaller event it only used the west halls and none ofthe east halls.
Both west hall 1 and 2 had circles selling doujins and goods. This is inside west hall 2. In west hall 4 they had a separate event called Character1 withcorporate booths.
In the Character1 area they had this big Nekopara TV anime ad. And some smaller ads for various other anime, figures and other stuff.Cardboard cutouts.
Metallizing Art on display. At the Key booth they also had art. One of Kanade Tachibana from Angel Beats. They had a stamp rally at the Key booth for people who bought itemstoo.
In a corner of Character1 they had itasha on display. Lots of different cars including this Kin'iro Loveriche one. Ryo Matsunaga from Idolmaster car. minori car with Ef: A Fairy Tale of the Two characters on the bonnet.Cardcaptor Sakura.
This Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha car had giant plushies in the seats. Cure Gelato from KiraKira Pretty Cure A La Mode. Kaori Nakaseko from Sound! Euphonium. I even saw an itasha truck here.Back of the truck.
There were a few cosplayers around too. Including this official cosplayer for a mobile game called BlackStella.
Cosplayer and matching itasha of Orifushi Mafuyu from Kanojo × Kanojo× Kanojo.
A lot less people at the end of the day. Before I left I spotted these Comic1 15 themed shikishi sign boards. Closer look of more shikishi. Here's a picture of the Comic1 15 catalog in the bottom left and someof the stuff I got.
No location map since it's no longer there. This location was visited on 2019/04/29.Links:

THURSDAY, JULY 25, 2019YOUR NAME - LAKE
Makoto Shinkai has said that his inspiration for Lake Itomori was Lake Matsubara and Lake Otsuki, so I went and checked them out. Image from Your Name - 31m59s I first checked out Lake Matsubara. Image from Your Name - 10m43s It's much smaller than Lake Itomori in the movie. Image from Your Name - 12m08s Closer look at the lake. Image from Your Name - 07m01s This is Lake Otsuki. It's just a few minutes walk away from LakeMatsubara.
Image from Your Name - 37m13s Lake Otsuki is even smaller than Lake Matsubara. Image from Your Name - 34m05s View of Lake Otsuki from a nearby hill. Image from Your Name - 29m53s There's also a small shrine with a torii gate on top of the hill, but like a lot of other places it doesn't look anything like the one inthe movie.
This is the closest train station which is named Matsubarako Station. It's quite far away from the lake itself though, so you have to either walk uphill for half an hour or try to catch a bus. As this sign shows the bus stop isn't located at the station though. So you'd need to walk up the path on the left here to catch theinfrequent bus.
The trains are also quite infrequent as you can see from the timetableon the right.
At the train station they had guestbooks. Mostly seemed to be for people enjoying the nature and lakes. Some anime drawings though. I signed the guestbook.Location map:
