Less stress, more profit* Blog
* About
6 REASONS TO MINIMALIZE YOUR BUSINESS Here's why I've gradually minimalized my business. * LESS STRESS. When my business is simpler and I have fewer tasks to get done every day, I’m less anxious. My mind isn’t cluttered. My breathing is deeper. I have time to play the guitar and read a book whenever I feel like it. Less stress and overwhelm is one of the biggest benefits for me of minimalist business and minimalist living. * MORE INCOME. And yet, I believe there’s also a financial reward for many of us who minimalize our businesses. If we learn to focus on those tasks we’re good at and that bring in the money, ignoring those that don’t meet these criteria, there’s a huge opportunity to bring in more money. And of course the benefit of more money isn't the money itself, but it means more freedom, more opportunities to give, and the ability to afford higher quality things and experiences. * FEWER EXPENSES AND ASSETS. In my personal life, I found it so freeing when I simply started wanting less. I save myself so many decisions and debates in my head - about whether I should buy a new bike or a pint of ice cream - when my default answer is no. I’ve started doing the same in my business. Do I want to buy this online course? No. Do I need the new Macbook? No. If I feel strongly that some product or service will help me boost profit or free up my time without cluttering my world, only then will I fork out the money, but I love having fewer decisions and the feeling of freedom from havingless stuff.
* MORE MASTERY. Since we’re spending more time on tasks for which we have a natural affinity, we get better at them. Mastery is a tremendously important component of living a good life - it feels good to be good at something, and to be able to help others by doing the things we're good at. * LESS CLEANING. My office has like 6 things in it. No papers. No filing cabinets. The only essential is a laptop and an internet connection. That means cleaning is simple. It's the same for my condo. It's 450 square feet. * MORE HAPPINESS, FULFILLMENT, FREEDOM. The above 5 points contribute to this one. When I have more money, less stuff, fewer time commitments, and I’m better at what I do, life’s good. I’ve put together a free series of lessons that will help you accomplish the above.Phil ·
