MI School Data is your starting point for information about Michigan’s education system. Previous. Submit postsecondary academic record data in the Student Transcript and Academic Record Repository. Turn data schools have into information schools can use through the MiData Hub.

MI School Data is the State of Michigan's official source for pre-K, K-12, postsecondary and workforce data to help residents, educators and policymakers make informed decisions to improve student success. The site offers multiple levels and views for statewide, intermediate school district, district, school and college level information. K-12 GRADE - MI SCHOOL DATA K-12th Grade. See how Michigan’s K-12 schools are performing by exploring student behavior and characteristics, school accountability measures, state test results, English learner and special education data, postsecondary outcomes, Career and Technical Education participation and school financial and staffing information.SCHOOL INDEX
The index system also identifies low-performing schools in three federally required categories: Comprehensive Support and Improvement, Targeted Support and Improvement and Additional Targeted Support. For more information on the index system, please visit the MDE Michigan School Accountability web page. The report is updated in late winter.GRAD/DROPOUT RATE
The Graduation/Dropout Rate report shows the percent and count of public high school students who, after beginning ninth grade four, five, or six years ago, graduated or dropped out of school. Graduation trends are available starting from the 2006-07 school year. Students are placed into a cohort year when they are first identified as ninth ANNUAL EDUCATION REPORT (1) The report is designed to meet the federal requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, helping school districts to easily package the required data elements for annual federal reporting. Users can easily link to, print with cover letter, and distribute these reports to fulfill requirements of the Every StudentSucceeds Act.
STUDENT ENROLLMENT COUNTS REPORT The Student Enrollment Counts report provides an unduplicated headcount of students attending a specific district or school. This helps users to understand the number and composition of students attending Michigan schools, and shows how enrollment trends change over time. Note: the report is based on pupil headcount, not full-timeequivalency.
FOUNDATION ALLOWANCE The foundation allowance is the amount, per pupil, allocated to school districts. Fund Balance. The fund balance shows the assets and liabilities of a district, and the difference between the two. A general rule of thumb that is if current liabilities outweigh assets, the district is operating in EDUCATOR EFFECTIVENESS Educator Effectiveness. The Educator Effectiveness report summarizes how school districts rate the effectiveness of their teachers and administrators. For this report, “teachers” include staff members who are assigned to provide educational instruction to students, and “administrators” include superintendents, assistantsuperintendents

COLLEGE READINESS
SAT benchmark scores are 480 for Evidenced-Based Reading and Writing, and 530 for Math. According to The College Board, students who meet or exceed these benchmarks have a 75% chance of earning a C or better in first-semester, credit-bearing college courses in these subjects. The College Readiness Report is updated annually in late summer. SCHOOL / DISTRICT ACCOUNTABILITY Welcome to the School and District Accountability Reporting Page. The Michigan Department of Education and the Center for Educational Performance and Information have developed a series of dashboards and reports showing performance and effectiveness for Michigan schools and districts. Each of these tools assesses entities for different ENGLISH LEARNER DASHBOARD The English Learner Dashboard provides an at-a-glance view of student proficiency and growth on the WIDA ACCESS for ELLs assessment, with links to more detailed reports. The WIDA ACCESS for ELLs is a secure large-scale English language proficiency assessment given to Kindergarten through 12th graders who have been identified as Englishlearners.

The data are pulled from other reports on MI School Data to give an overview of the district or region. For legislators, the report provides key indicators for all schooldistricts
