It’s the final week of the regular legislative session and, as I prepare this update, all indications are the legislature will likely be heading toward a special session to finish their work, IF the Governor and House and Senate leadership can reach an agreement on the next two-year budget and resolve ABOUT MINNESOTA CORN RESEARCH & PROMOTION COUNCIL About MCR&PC. In 1990, the Minnesota Corn Growers Association worked to pass a statewide producer referendum that created the Minnesota Corn Research & Promotion Council. This law provided for 1/2 cent per bushel at the first point of sale, to be collected and used for the promotion, communication and research of Minnesota corn. NEW EBOOK DEBUNKS ETHANOL MYTHS The Minnesota Corn Growers Association and the Better Fuel Initiative fights back against Big Oil and its misinformation campaigns by addressing the myths attacking ethanol-blended fuels with facts.
