Congratulations to this year’s program WINNERSand all
participants. And congratulations to National PTA Reflections award winners Cassandra Bolster (Park Rapids) and Hadley Schuer (Olson Elementary, Bloomington). ------------------------- NATIONAL PTA CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF REFLECTIONS The National PTA Reflections program, in its 50th year, is a wonderful way for PTA schools to encourage students to create and submit original works of art in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. Especially at schools where art is not part of the curriculum, Reflections allows an opportunity to showcase the many talented budding artists out there! Click here for more information about Reflections ------------------------- UNIVERSAL BYLAWS ADOPTED _AN IMPROVEMENT FOR PTA UNITS IN MINNESOTA_ Something new for PTAs in 2018-2019: Universal bylaws will replace all individual unit bylaws, making it easier to maintain “good standing” for our PTA units. Standing Rules will also be utilized, which is a new concept to most of our PTAs. They provide process and details not contained in the bylaws, and are customizable. Watch the website for more details on the implementation timeline. To read more about this change, click here.
