Ipswich in Chesapeake, VA. Indian River Park is located in Cheaspeake Virginia smack dab in the middle of housing developments. The area is more commonly known as "Ipswich" from the home development that boards about half of the park. It is a rather small plot of land and the topography is pretty much flat. PALOMAR MOUNTAIN EPIC LOOP It was an easy 2.5 mile mostly flat/downhill return back to the truck from there. The route was 29.2 miles long and 6,800 feet of climbing. Access onto the Pauma Indian Reservation subject to change at any given time so you may want to check with the tribal office (760LA COSTA RESERVE
The Rancho La Costa Preserve is a the small mountain open space located near where the communities of Carlsbad, Encinitas, San Marcos, and Olivehain converge in coastal north county San Diego. While this is not a destination per se, it is certainly a gem of a neighborhood trail. With maybe six miles of trails here, what this place lacks in MOUNTAINBIKEBILL'S MOUNTAIN BIKING TRAIL REVIEW OF THE The Coast to Crest Trail. The Coast to Creast Trail is a multi-use trail that passes through the San Diequito River watershed from its source on Volcan Mountain near Julian to the Pacific Ocean at Del Mar's Dog Beach. The intended 70 miles trail is very much still MOUNTAINBIKEBILL'S MOUNTAIN BIKING TRAIL REVIEW OF SIMPSON This is an old fireroad which I found to have very little redeeming qualities. It is usually steep and will most likely be a sandy mess in the dry months. The good thing about the Mule Deer trail is that after 0.6 miles the Red Tail Trail (Q) crosses the trail. The trail is notmarked here.
HARDING TRUCK TRAIL
Harding Truck Trail. The Harding Truck is a long climb up of nearly nine miles that is sure to push your lungs and legs. While not a technical climb it is quite strenuous gaining a little over 3,000 feet in 8.9 miles. There are some absolutely fabulous views on this climb. On this particular ride I continued on upward along the Main Divide MOUNTAINBIKEBILL'S MOUNTAIN BIKING TRAIL REVIEWS, VIDEOS The trail transitions to singletrack and starts working its way up Raptor Ridge. This is a nice section of singletrack that get fairly steep early on. The steep grade is not unrelenting as the trail kinda stair steps it way up the ridge. The climb lasts about 3/4ths of a mile until it reaches a view point area. THE RAMBLINGS OF MTBBILL This video was from April of 2004 in Zushi, Japan. The area was also known as “Duck Pond” as one of the entrances into the area required a righteous hike-a-bike up a trail behind a duck pond. This area was also part of bigger adventures into the Tennin, Takatori, Yokohama Woods and Kamakura trail systems. PALOMAR MOUNTAIN EPIC LOOP It was an easy 2.5 mile mostly flat/downhill return back to the truck from there. The route was 29.2 miles long and 6,800 feet of climbing. Access onto the Pauma Indian Reservation subject to change at any given time so you may want to check with the tribal office (760 THE PALM CANYON EPIC This is a true Southern California Epic Ride. Offering huge vistas, off-camber narrow singletrack, ridges, stream beds, rocks, sand, cacti, this ride will nearly overload your senses. This point-to-point route takes you through a varied array of desert trails from the foot of the north slope of Santa Rosa Mountain at 4500 plus feet down toPalm
NATE HARRISON GRADE ROAD Nate Harrison Grade Road. Nate Harrison Grade is on the southwest side of Palomar Mountain in the north end of San Diego County. This is one continuous climb that will certainly test your climbing strength. It has an average grade of 8% over 11.1 miles with some parts being much steeper. With almost 4700 feet of climbing this is a great workout MOUNTAIN BIKING THE OROSCO RIDGE AND BODEN CANYON LOOP Located near Ramona this 14.2 mile loop is a good climb onto Orosco Ridge which creates the western rim of Pamo Valley followed a descent into Boden Canyon for nice cruise through mature oak groves and pictureque meadows before closing the loop on the Lower Santa Ysabel Truck Truck which in many places looks more like singletrack than anold dirt road.
THE HURRICANE CLIFFS TRAIL SYSTEM The Goulds Trail. The Hurricane Cliffs trail system, consists mainly of the Goulds Rim trail, the Goulds trail, the JEM Trail, and the Hurricane Rim Trail. These trails form a 21.5 mile loop of which about 19 miles of so of it is mighty fine singletrack. We did this loop This site will look much better in a browser that supports web standards , but it is accessible to any browser or Internet device. * BLOG - What's New : * Frequently Asked Questions :* Got Trail? :
