In addition, the Bavarian authorities have set up corona test centers at CORONA TESTS AT THE AIRPORT Incoming travellers and also other persons (citizen testing) who wish to be tested for possible infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus can do so free of charge at the Corona Test Center. The Corona Test Center is located in the Forum of the Munich Airport Center (MAC) on Level 04 and is open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight. FAR-REACHING TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS IN AIR TRAFFIC Due to the global coronavirus pandemic, far-reaching restrictions on air traffic are currently in force at national and international level. Munich Airport is also affected by this. By order of the Federal Ministry of Health, a mandatory two-week quarantine on entry into Germany has been in force in Germany since 10 April 2020. Since April 27, 2020, Bavaria makes face masks compulsory in bid in shops and public transport. Passenger handling in Terminal 1 is suspended until further notice. All departures and arrivals will be handled via Terminal 2. Check-in for airlines otherwise based in Terminal 1 will then take place in Area Z in the Munich AirportCenter.
