After the Korean War began in 1950, the United States Air Force (USAF) looked for a jet-powered medium bomber to quickly replace the aging, propeller-driven Douglas B-26 Invader. BRIG GEN ROBERT L. SCOTT, JR. MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT The Museum of Aviation Foundation's Brig. Gen. Robert L. Scott, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament is a 4-person scramble. It will be held may 17, 2021 at Idle Hour Country Club in Macon, Georgia in honor of the achievements of Brig. Gen. Robert L. Scott, Jr. during WWII. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Archive/Library Volunteers perform tasks in the Archives and Library section of the Museum. This Volunteer works under direction of the Curator and the hours for this position are Monday thru Friday 10:00am-4:00pm. Hours worked by Volunteers are agreed upon between the Volunteer and Curator.P-51H "MUSTANG"
P-51H “Mustang” BY NORTH AMERICAN The Mustang was among the best and most well-known fighters used by the U.S. Army Air Forces (USAAF) during World War II. Possessing excellent range and maneuverability, the P-51 operated primarily as a long-range escort O-2A “SKYMASTER” O-2A “Skymaster” BY CESSNA The O-2 was a military version of the Cessna Model 337 Super Skymaster. Distinguished by twin tail booms and tandem-mounted engines, it featured a tractor-pusher propeller arrangement. Derived from the Cessna Model 336, the Model 337EVENT SPACE RENTAL

ADM-20 “Quail” BY MCDONNELL The Quail, originally designated the GAM-72, is an air-launched decoy missile carried by the B-52 strategic bomber. Designed to produce a radar image very similar to that of the B-52 and to fly at approximately the B-57B “CANBERRA” B-57B “Canberra”. After the Korean War began in 1950, the United States Air Force (USAF) looked for a jet-powered medium bomber to quickly replace the aging, propeller-driven Douglas B-26 Invader. In March 1951 the USAF contracted with Martin to build the British Canberra in the United States under license. The Martin-built B-57made its

Cessna first produced the wood and tubular steel fabric-covered T-50 in 1939 for the civilian market. In 1940, the Army Air Corps F-111E “AARDVARK” F-111E “Aardvark” BY GENERAL DYNAMICS The versatile “swing wing” F-111 entered the USAF inventory in 1967. The F-111’s wings are straight for takeoffs, landing or slow speed flight, but by sweeping its wings rearward, in can exceed twice the speedC-45G "EXPEDITOR"
