As a knowledge keeper and hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language instructor from the Musqueam community, Elder Grant will discuss the value of cultural anchors and family histories in understanding and reconciling the deep connection between people and place. GITXSAN AND ḴWIḴWA̱SUT'INUX̱W POLES Gitxsan artist, Wah Yooksgm Hayda (Art Sterritt), carved both of the Gitxsan totem poles in 1972 at the Gitanmaax School of Northwest Coast Indian Art at Ksan village, in Hazelton British Columbia.
