Dating to the beginning of AD, the times of the prosperity in Travnik happened between the end of the 17th century and mid-19th century when the town was the capital of the governors of Bosnia. Address: Rinktinės g. 1. 21 MOST INSTAGRAMMABLE PLACES IN KOSICE, SLOVAKIA Kosice, the second biggest city in Slovakia is such a lovely city and with the colorful houses, charming lanes, impressive interiors, and beautiful architecture. It’s really not difficult to take good Kosice pictures when you visit Kosice.. But, like everywhere else, some places are most Instagram-worthy than others and so I created this small guide to the most Instagrammable places in Kosice.KRAKOW TO LVIV
They depart from Krakow on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The plane leaves Krakow at 7.10am, arriving to Lviv one hour later, 9.10am Ukrainian time. From Lviv it departs at 9.35am and will arrive to Krakow also at 9.35am – the joy of one hour time difference between Poland and Ukraine. It shows two most iconic Polish citizens – Lech Wałęsa, the father of “Solidarność” movement that has changed the history of Poland and Europe at the end of the 20th century, and the Pope John Paul 2nd. 10 REASONS TO VISIT CROATIA Croatia is one of the countries I plan to focus on more in my future Balkan travels as so far I’ve seen only a few places in the country: Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, Dubrovnik (including a few day trips from Dubrovnik) Zadar, Split, Sibenik, and Krka National Park, but there are just so many things to do in Croatia.And every reason to visit Croatia is actually a good one. GUIDE TO VILNIUS SOVIET ARCHITECTURE While most people associate Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, with picturesque Old Town or the bohemian Uzupis Republic, the city has also some pretty interesting examples of Soviet architecture.. After all, Lithuania has been part of the Soviet Union from 1939 till 1990 and many of the public service buildings in Vilnius were designed in the famous-then brutalist style. VISIT VUKOVAR, CROATIA Vukovar, a town of around 27 thousand inhabitants, is located in the north-east part of Croatia, at the border with Serbia across the Danube river. Osijek, the fourth largest city in Croatia, is 35 km away, while Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, is around 300 km away. Another nearby large city is Novi Sad in Serbia, which is 80 km awayfrom Vukovar.

It’s fairly easy to travel to Lviv – one of the biggest cities in Ukraine. Numerous international and national trains, buses and flights serve the city. The main train station is located a short tram ride away from Lviv Old Town, you can reach the center by trams no 1 and 9. BULGARIA ITINERARY
Bansko and Mount Pirin. It is the most famous mountain resort in Bulgaria. But it is not just a resort. Bansko is an old town, located on the north foot of Mt. Pirin- a mighty mountain range, rising up to 2914 m, with its Vihren Peak, which is the third highest peak in the Balkans.. Krakow to Lviv by bus. There are direct Krakow to Lviv buses but to be honest I wouldn’t recommend them. VISIT PRZEMYSL, POLAND Where is Przemysl, Poland. Przemysl, the city of around 60 thousand inhabitants, is located in the south-east part of Poland, near the border with Ukraine (it’s some 10 km away). Rzeszów, the capital of Podkarpackie Region that Przemyśl is part of, is 80 km away, Kraków 250 km away and Lviv (Ukraine) – 100 km away..
