HISTORY OF NAMIBIA, SWAKOPMUND, WINDHOEK Before Europeans ever set foot in Namibia, the territory was buzzing with activity. Unfortunately only little is known about these times. Traces of the events of this time can still be found in the rich oral traditions that circulate in local communities. GONDWANA NAMIB PARK IN NAMIBIA, SAFARI2GO Gondwana namib park. Do a 180 degree turn and the desert suddenly looks completely different: in the east vast plains stretch out to the foot of distant mountains, while in the west it is dune upon dune all the way to the horizon.
