IT’S ALL ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS INSIDE Since 1983, many hundreds of community members have been making the Museum a reality and bringing history to life. The original Hellenic Museum and Cultural Center (HMCC) had several homes before becoming the NATIONAL HELLENIC MUSEUM, including residing above a restaurant inGreektown.
Over thirty years and countless volunteer hours, so many have helped to build the NHM into a renowned hub for Greek American history. And the NATIONAL HELLENIC MUSEUM continues to evolve with the help of many dedicated staff, patrons, and loyal supporters. In our world-class space, and now online, all NHM programming continues the aim to promote critical thinking, self-awareness, and understanding in ourdiverse world.
