NATURAL RESOURCES WALES / EDUCATION, LEARNING AND SKILLS Education, learning and skills . Our natural environment is the largest classroom we have in Wales and we need to make the most of it! NATURAL RESOURCES WALES / GWYDIR FOREST PARK Distance: 24.8 kilometres. Total climb: 800 metres. Time: 2-4 hours. Gwydir Mawr is one of the original mountain bike trails and is a true classic. Big climbs, big descents, brilliant singletrack and truly awesome scenery make this a trail to remember. Now including a brand new two kilometre section with a mix of traditional hand dug trail and NATURAL RESOURCES WALES / LIFE DEE RIVER River Dee. LIFE Dee River is a £6.8m project to transform the River Dee and its catchment by restoring the river and its surroundings back to their natural state. This will bring many benefits to the environment, most notably improving the numbers of salmon, lamprey and freshwater pearl mussels to help them become more sustainable infuture.

The reserve includes three raised bogs - areas of deep peat that have built up over the last 12000 years. The raised bogs are surrounded by a complex and unique mix of habitats - reedbeds, wet grasslands, woodland and NATURAL RESOURCES WALES / APPLY FOR A FELLING LICENCE In this section. Anyone can apply for a felling licence but the licence will be issued in the name of the owner or the lease holder of the land (if their lease entitles them to fell trees).
