Fair Food Matters began in 2001 as an educational resource for issues in the food system. As the local food movement grew in Kalamazoo, FFM honed in on creating food and garden based experiential education for local youth. If you are concerned about an injured or orphaned animal, please visit the Michigan Department of Natural Resources website for a list of Michigan Licensed Rehabilitators before moving, touching or otherwise handling the animal. KNC FACILITY RENTALS Rent a space at the Kalamazoo Nature Center. There's a room with a view for every event! The Kalamazoo Nature Center's Visitor Center was designed by eminent 20 th century architect Alden B. Dow and features interactive exhibits and green technology. The main KNC campus is located on 1,100 acres of rolling hills with a variety of habitats including mature beech-maple forests, wetlands and KALAMAZOO NATURE CENTER > EDUCATION > LIBRARIES Program Fees: $275 per library, school or community group less than 250 people. Travel fees apply for locations more than 65 miles round trip from the Kalamazoo Nature Center. Discounts for multiple programs and locations are available.
