CHILDCARE ‘UNDERFUNDED’ IMPACTING SECTOR WIDE PAY, LOW PAY Childcare ‘underfunded’ impacting sector wide pay, Low Pay Commission finds This year’s Low Pay Commission report states that childcare is underfunded and its workers bear the consequences of this. The report published today (9 December 2020) unveiled its findings as well as the new mandatory minimum wages which were announced by the Chancellor last month.
