THE TRAVEL BUG BIT JEFF AT 18 DIGGING FOR FOSSILS IN UTAH We did however have much better luck a little further south digging in the Wheeler Shale found in southwestern Utah. The Wheeler Shale is a 100-200 meter thick calcareous shale layer formation that was deposited during the Cambrian (~500 million years ago). The layer also consists of shaley limestone, mudstone, and flaggy limestone. SEA LIFE OF RAJA AMPAT Reef Manta Ray. Manta alfredi. Adult Size: 150-550cm. IUCN Status: Vulnerable. Where To Find Them: Nearshore Reefs (within a few km of shore) Found In the Indian, Pacific, and Indo-Pacific, reef manta rays are believe to live for at least 40 years in the wild (though the exact life span is unknown).KATY LAVECK FOSTER

INDONESIA: BOOKING DOMESTIC FLIGHTS Booking domestic Indonesian flights directly with the airlines is doable sometimes. In our experience with over 100 domestic Indonesian flights over the years, Garuda and Sriwijaya are the most likely to accept a foreign credit card without issue.
