For six decades, Norman Bird Sanctuary has welcomed hundreds of campers to our award-winning Summer Camp. In what has become a tradition for many, generations of curious campers have been able to explore our expansive 325-acre outdoor classroom and have fun in TRAILS — NORMAN BIRD SANCTUARY Trails. December Mini Camp. Into The Wild. Saturday, December 21st (9:00 am-3:00 pm) Recommended for Kindergarten-Grade 6. Your kids will hit the trails and learn how to use nature to survive in the wild! Campers will build forts, hike to Hanging Rock, and learn about the native plants and animals of Norman Bird Sanctuary. Member price: $50.00.ADOPT A BIRD BOX
Adopt a Bird Box. Every year from April through August, Norman Bird Sanctuary installs and monitors close to 300 bird nesting boxes in the open fields near the main campus. The most nest boxes in the entire country! The majority of birds nesting are Tree Swallows but in recent years we’ve seen increasing numbers of Eastern Bluebirds.BEACH BASH SERIES

Adopt a Bird Box. Every year from April through August, Norman Bird Sanctuary installs and monitors close to 300 bird nesting boxes in the open fields near the main campus. The most nest boxes in the entire country! The majority of birds nesting are Tree Swallows but in recent years we’ve seen increasing numbers of Eastern Bluebirds. There is plenty to see at all times of the year. You can bring your binoculars and go for a walk along our well-maintained trails. You will be sure to see a variety of wildlife, including local and migratory birds, depending on the season. We are a community organization with the mission of preserving and protecting habitats and providing environmental education to a diverse audience of all ages.
