Norwescap Family Loan Program provides low-income individuals and, individuals with less than perfect credit ratings, with low-cost, bank approved loans. Norwescap along with partnering financial institutions created a revolving loan fund pool to help working families remain employed. We recognize that no credit or bad credit prevents hardworking individual’s access to small loans. Through the Early Head FOOD BANK - NORWESCAP the Food Bank distributes approximately 2 million pounds of food annually to 100 pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, on-site feeding programs, child care centers, senior centers, and programs for the disabled in Hunterdon, Sussex and Warren counties. Norwescap Family Loan Program provides low-income individuals and, individuals with less than perfect credit ratings, with low-cost, bank approved loans. Norwescap along with partnering financial institutions created a revolving loan fund pool to help working families remain employed. We recognize that no credit or bad credit prevents hardworking individual’s access to small loans. Enrolled individuals receive match dollars while attending financial literacy workshops, developing budgets, obtaining knowledge on credit and implementing and developing an individual service financial plan. To establish good FOOD BANK - NORWESCAP We provide food, in bulk, to charitable organizations that, in turn, feed the hungry. We also provide food to children identified as being food- insecure in school districts throughout our service territory. WHO WE HELP
A recently separated mother of two young girls came to the Career & Life Transitions Center. Though struggling financially, she was ineligible for food stamps. Without the extra cushion provided by such benefits as Child Support and Rental Assistance, she lived by borrowing against her credit. She has a business degree and decided that she needed a career change and further schooling because she could not afford the commute back and forth to New York City for her job as a single parent. Read Success Stories NORWESCAP RESILIENCY FUND The Norwescap Resiliency Fund has been launched to help support those in need during the pandemic and beyond.
