Add 1 tablespoon of gelatin powder to a cold smoothie in place of a protein powder or make your own superfood smoothie mix. 2. Make panna cotta, an easy, elegant dessert (there are an endless number of flavor possibilities for panna cotta – get tons of ideas here) 3. Make homemade pudding cups. COCONUT FISH SOUP • NOURISHING JOY Coconut Fish Soup. Combine all ingredients except for the basil, bring to a gentle simmer over medium-high heat, and continue simmering for 15-20 minutes. Do not let it boil or the coconut milk will separate. Add the basil about 5 minutes before serving. Adjust seasoning totaste.

HOMEMADE CHEERIOS • NOURISHING JOY Using a pizza cutter or a very sharp knife, cut the dough into small squares about 1/2″ x 1/2″. Lift the entire piece of parchment paper onto a baking sheet and bake until puffed and just beginning to brown, 10-11 minutes. Remove from the oven, reduce heat to 300F, then break the dough into the predefined pieces. HOMEMADE BOUILLON CUBES • NOURISHING JOY Instructions. Grind dried mushrooms in a spice grinder, coffee mill, or high-speed blender until they form a fine powder. Set aside. Mix the broth powder ingredients in a large bowl and stir well. Add in dried mushroom powder and whisk well. Add palm shortening and with a fork, smear the mixture together until homogenous. HOW TO INFUSE OILS WITH HERBS FOR NATURAL REMEDIES Low-Heat Method. Place the herbs and oils in a double-boiler and heat over the absolutely lowest possible heat on the stove until the oil is deeply colored, 2-4 hours. You may also heat the oven to 200°F, turn it off, and placed the melted oils and herbs in the oven for 4-6 hours. Strain herbs from the oil by pouring through a cheesecloth. THE #1 REASON WE ALL NEED TO EAT MORE GELATIN • NOURISHING JOY Gelatin helps heal and seal the colon so that nutrients may be absorbed. 4. Gelatin helps food gel within the stomach for more consistent digestion. 5. Gelatin reduces heartburn, ulcers, and acid reflux by binding acids with the foods. 6. Gelatin aids digestion by keeping the gastric mucosa in OLD FASHIONED EGGNOG • NOURISHING JOY Place all ingredients in a blender or a large bowl. Blend or whisk until very smooth and a bit frothy. Set in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour and preferably overnight to chill thoroughly and allow flavors to blend. Serve chilled. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2days.
HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE EVAPORATED MILK AND SWEETENED Instructions. First, pour three cups of water into the empty slow cooker and use a ruler to measure the depth. Note this measurement, as this is the depth your milk will be when it is finished. Pour water out and place the milk in the slow cooker. Heat on high for 18-20 hours with the lid off, unless you notice scorching, then switch it tolow.
