SOURDOUGH BREAD / BUNS ~ raw, vegan, gluten-free ~ I think sourdough is an acquired taste, you either like it, or you don’t. There really never seems to be amiddle ground.
MONSTERA DELICIOSA
Like many plants, it goes by many different names: ceriman, Swiss cheese plant, Monstera, Mexican breadfruit, Monstera deliciosa, or a split-leaf philodendron. I refer to it as a Monsterathough learning that some call it Mexican breadfruit is quite intriguing. I wonder how that name came into being. I have come to discover that caring for the Monstera deliciosa is surprisingly easy. I have RAW CASHEWS, SOAKED AND DRYING Kari, I’ve tested soaking and freezing un-dehydrated almonds and cashews with success. The almonds are soaked, peeled, rinsed, and stored in sandwich baggies (1 cup measure) in the freezer to use for making almond milk every week. ALMONDS, SOAKING AND DRYING Why must we go through all this trouble? I find soaking nuts a significant step when it comes to my digestion. When nuts/seeds are soaked and/or sprouted in water, the germination process begins, in which the active and readily available amounts of enzymes, vitamins, minerals, proteins, and essential fatty acids begin to be activated.
