Launched in 1984, Ski Patrol Magazine is the magazine of the National Ski Patrol (NSP). It is published thrice annually, and available to all members of the NSP. Ski Patrol Magazine covers all aspects of patrolling, including NSP education and non-curricular programs, division events and updates, ski industry news, and general intereststories.

On Christmas Eve 2010, a violent collision at a ski area in Wyoming resulted in the death of five-year-old Elise Johnson, as well as the snowboarder who crashed into her, and left Kelli Johnson in a coma with severe injuries.
