VALUING THE TEACHING PROFESSION Valuing the teaching profession - an independent inquiry. In early 2020 the NSW Teachers Federation commissioned an independent inquiry into the work of teachers and principals and how it has changed since 2004. The expert panel that conducted the independent inquiry was chaired by Dr Geoff Gallop, former WA Premier and Education Minister.DECISION - NSWTF
FWCA 7058 2 The Agreement is approved and, in accordance with s.54 of the Act, will operate from 31 December 2020. The nominal expiry date of the Agreement is 3 February 2021.THE TREE LEVY
The Tree Levy is an annual grants scheme funded by Federation. The scheme aims to offset the environmental impact of the union’s activities via a levy on the paper used by Federation. This provides funding for the purchase of native trees for planting in public school grounds. The Tree Levy helps the environment, improves our publicschools
