“Jump!” follows the three-month journey of the JumpTT programme which used parkour and physical theatre as an aesthetic to tell the stories of young people transitioning from childhood to adulthood. At her home she welcomes her friends within the LGBT community and provides them with a safe place away from persecution. ART, RESISTANCE AND ACTIVISM PROGRAM ADIFF’s Art, Resistance and Activism program presents a selection of 18 films celebrating art – including poetry, music, dance, painting, filmmaking, and sculpting – as a force for social change. NYADIFF – CHICAGO – JUST ANOTHER AFRICAN DIASPORA Pardons Of Innocence: The Wilmington Ten. This powerful documentary retraces the violence that led up to the false prosecution and convictions of eight black male students, a white female community organizer, and fiery civil rights activist, Rev. Benjamin Chavis, for protesting the racial injustice associated with the troubled desegregation of New Hanover County Public School System KILIKIS THE TOWN OF OWLS (MOROCCO) The Town of Owls is an isolated residential community situated in the High Atlas Mountains. It is inhabited by families and guards of a secret political prison camp, which remained out of history for a long time until the early 1990s. Guards spend their long days back and forth between the secret prison and the village, through a suspension MINGA AND THE BROKEN SPOON MINGA AND THE BROKEN SPOON. A charming animation for the entire family, this African fable tells the story of Minga, an orphaned girl living with her stepmother Mami Kaba and her stepsister Abena.
