As part of our deep commitment to Oklahoma education, we’ve established several scholarship programs to help advance our state’s leaders’ education. Since 2005, we have sponsored over $4.1 million in scholarships and awards up to $500,000 annually in petroleum-related fields at the University of Oklahoma, the Universityof Tulsa, Oklahoma
OERB WELL CLEANUP
The people of Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas have voluntarily invested over $132 million to clean up orphaned and abandoned well sites left by companies that no longer exist – over 18,000 sites in all – at absolutely no cost to landowners. This practical and economical four-step restoration process follows recognized environmentalstandards.
OERB FUNDING
The OERB is funded through a voluntary one-tenth of one-percent assessment on the sale of oil and natural gas in Oklahoma, paid for by oil and natural gas producers and royalty owners. Major oil companies, large and small independents, and royalty owners all contribute an equal share to support the OERB in its environmental and educationalOERB BOARD & STAFF

Representation is divided between independent oil and natural gas companies, major oil and natural gas companies, petroleum purchasers and royalty owners.
