THE COLLECTIONS. With over 400 images now on the website, and more added with every passing day, I felt it was time to round them up and cherry-pick my favourites. I’ve curated lists of images which can be used to teach/practise certain skills, or as stimuli for certainlessons.
THE PREDICTION COLLECTION The Prediction Collection. All of our children are expected to make predictions while reading. Children don’t always understand what it means to infer, and stumble on test questions demanding this of them. I’ve found that teaching the skill explicitly using a non-threatening stimulus has worked brilliantly. First, you develop the understanding of the skill, whatis

These are my favourite character images (it was a tough choice!) – use them to work on character description (including grammar objectives such as expanded noun phrases and relative clauses) or for character ideas for writing.
