INVESTMENT STRATEGY
The Investment Strategy’s framework starts with the Action Areas that OTF invests in. They are the building blocks to healthier, more vibrant communities. The Priority Outcome is the long-term change a project will contribute to achieving for Ontarians. There are Priority Outcomes that fit within each of the six Action Areas. FIND YOUR CATCHMENT AREA Find your Catchment Area. OTF has divided Ontario into 16 catchment areas, enabling OTF to make granting decisions at a local level. Each catchment is supported by OTF staff and local Grant Review Team volunteers. When you apply for a grant, you will be asked at some point to select your catchment. YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES FUND Youth Innovations Stream. This stream invests in the work of grassroots groups that are youth-led or youth-adult partnerships by funding projects that test an idea or grow a successful project. SEED GRANT | ONTARIO TRILLIUM FOUNDATION Seed grants aim to drive positive change in your community by helping you explore new ideas and concepts, build evidence that something works, or develop or pilot an idea or approach. Four types of projects qualify for a Seed grant. Choose the one that most closely aligns withyour project.

Operating relief to help organizations remain viable so they can continue to improve quality of life and provide services, jobs, educational opportunities and programming for Ontarians. Applications will be accepted starting March 31, 2021. The application deadline is June 1, 2021 at 5 PM ET. Description Our organization, with a $150,000 Resilient Communities Fund grant over 9 months, will rebuild and recover from impacts of COVID-19 by continuing to connect with theatre audiences by making needed capital and safety upgrades, providing livestreaming opportunities, and purchasing new soundproofing and plexiglassequipment.

He is the Founding Principal of Upstream Strategy Group, a Toronto-based firm which specializes in strategic communications, advocacy and grassroots engagement for a wide range of private sector and non-profit clients. Michael was appointed to the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Board ofDirectors in 2019.
