Once an underutilized rocky beach on Lake Michigan, the new Park District of Highland Park Rosewood Beach is a unique educational and recreational oasis protecting the priceless natural resource that is Lake Michigan. At that time through a generous donation from the Fink family and support from a federal grant, the Park District leverage these funds to complete a major renovation to the park. THE PRESERVE PROJECT UPDATE The Preserve Project Update. 6/03/21 – This week at The Preserve, crews planted ribbons of native plants leading to the North Pond as part of a state-level effort to make our waterways clean and healthy.
