EDITIONS – PETER BEARD STUDIO PETER BEARD STUDIO, NEW YORK 2008. The custom designed, hand-made portfolio box measures 31 7/8 x 27 7/8 x 2 3/8 inches and contains 15 selenium toned gelatin silver prints of Peter Beard’s most iconic elephant images captured in Africa. Each print is signed by the artist and measures 24 x 30 inches. BIOGRAPHY – PETER BEARD STUDIO Biography. Peter Beard was born in New York City in 1938. A childhood obsession with nature blossomed during summers spent in Tuxedo Park with his grandmother who gave him his first camera, a Voightländer. Taking pictures became a natural extension of the way he already preserved his memories in meticulously crafted diaries. THE ARTIST – PETER BEARD STUDIO The Artist.
