STEVEN MOECKEL
Born in Germany, Steven Moeckel began his musical career at an early age, first as violinist, then performing at the age of eleven as principal soprano soloist for the renowned Vienna Boys Choir. After leaving the choir, he resumed violin studies at the Mozarteum in ASSISTANT CONCERTMASTER Assistant Concertmaster - Mary K. Yearly Chair by Douglas C. Yearly. Born thirty miles from the Canadian border in Halma, Minnesota, Dian D'Avanzo began studying the piano at age three, violin at age ten, and harp at age twelve. Eventually choosing to concentrate on the violin, she earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of LARRY LOEBER, COLLABORATIVE PIANIST WTIH SYMPHONY CHORUS Larry Loeber, Collaborative Pianist wtih Symphony Chorus. A native of Ohio, Lawrence is currently in his 16 th season as freelance principal pianist for The Phoenix Symphony, and has also been a member of the Arizona Musicfest orchestra for the past six seasons. He has appeared as soloist in Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” with both of theseorchestras.
