QUAKER'S BEST OATMEAL COOKIES RECIPE In large bowl, beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg; mix well. Add oats; mix well. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 9 minutes for a chewy cookie or 10 to 11 minutes for a crisp cookie. BERRY OATMEAL BARS RECIPE Reserve 1 cup oat mixture for topping. Press remaining oat mixture evenly onto bottom of ungreased 8 or 9-inch square baking pan. Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool slightly on wire rack. In medium bowl, combine blueberries, preserves, 1 teaspoon flour and lemon peel, if desired; mix gently. OATMEAL TURKEY BURGERS RECIPE 2 Clove (s) Garlic, minced. 1/2 Teaspoon (s) salt (optional) 1/2 Cup (s) nonfat sour cream. Cooking Instructions. Lightly spray rack of broiler pan with no-stick cooking spray or oil lightly. Combine first 8 ingredients; mix well. Shape into six burgers. Place on rack of prepared pan or over medium-hot coals on outdoor grill 6 inches fromheat.
