The High School to Art School program (HS2AS) is a FREE visual arts portfolio development program that provides qualified high school sophomores, juniors and seniors with the art skills training, mentorship, essay writing techniques, college application assistance and financial aid planning necessary to gain ARTIST COMMISSIONING PROGRAM artist commissioning program. The Artist Commissioning Program (ACP) democratizes the traditional commissioning progress by enabling local community members, or “art commissioners,” to fill gaps in American culture by awarding commissions to Queens artists.The 2021-22 ACP will fund choreographers, dance artists, and small dance organizations to tell untold stories that highlight STAFF BIOGRAPHIES AND INFORMATION Hoong Yee Lee Krakauer, Executive Director . believes in the power of the arts to mobilize and transform community. She was a member of the Transition Team for Mayor DiBlasio, serves on Tony Bennett’s Exploring the Arts Foundation and sits on many grant panels across thecountry.

The Queens Arts Fund is committed to supporting emerging artists from diverse cultural backgrounds, working within alldisciplines to
QAF ARTS ACCESS GRANT 2021 Arts Access Grant - Organization Support. Grants range from $1,000 to $5,000. For this category, applicants can make only one project request not to exceed $5,000. Organizations that apply as a grantee cannot also fiscally sponsor a different applicant in the sameyear.
