MOMOE'S STARS QUILT PATTERN Momoe's stars quilt pattern - i found it!!!!!! After seeing several posts about a pattern called Momoe's Stars. PEAKS AND VALLEYS TULA PINK QUILT I think I printed out instructions for a quilt similar to this one called "Misty Mountains." If indeed it is NOT the same one, the blocks are certainly very close. It begins with two identical squares, one light and one dark, which are sewn diagonally, cut into strips, shuffled from side to side, then resewn. The resulting block isrectangular.
QAYG WITH WIDE SASHING-- HOW I DO IT The same will be done with the second block. This shows the back side of this step. Sew 1/4" seam and press sashing pieces away from the block. INSET CIRCLE USING FREEZER PAPER AND GLUE Make sure there is at least 1" between the edge of the circle and the edge of the square. Step 2: Cut the circle out of the paper. Step 3: Iron the freezer paper to the wrong side of the background fabric. Step 4: Mark the circle on the fabric. Step 5: Cut a circle out of the center, leaving about 1/2". CLEANING AND REPAIRING THE SHELLAC CLEAR COAT ON VINTAGE Now wipe over the decals with a little alcohol and linseed on the finger with one little swipe (lighlty). The machine should begin to look clean and shinny. Now dip the wrapped finger in shellac and apply a few drops of linseed oil and go over the decals, this will apply shellac over them to protect them.CUTE CAMPER

Make four half-square triangles using a 3.0" square of a scrap fabric and a 3.0" square of background fabric. Picture 3 shows the method I used. WHICH SINGER MACHINES WILL GO FROM PORTABLE TO CABINET Yes the Touch N Sews could go in a cabinet but it had to be a cabinet made for them, they mounted differently than machines mounted with hinges on the back. Most any of the older portable machines can be taken out of their base and put in a cabinet as long as the machine fits the cabinet opening and the hinge spacing is the same. Cari. Now remember this will not completely get rid of the blemishes and rough spots on the japan of the machine and this technique will only work on a shellac finish which is 95% of the machines( unless you get an East German machinelike Charlee).
QAYG WITH WIDE SASHING-- HOW I DO IT Many of us have our own method of QAYG. I have previously posted my method for narrow join QAYG. Here is how I do wide sashing QAYG. I took pics as I assembled it, so they may help with understanding the process, for anyone who is interested. BABY LOCK JAZZ II HELP NEEDED Hi! I bought a Jazz II back in March and for the most part I am happy with it. I have had issues with tension but I'm working on that. Today after re-filling my bobbin and starting quilting again, the tension was crazy loose when it wasn't just two minutes previous. VALENTINE CANDY BLOCK Thanks you for sharing your knowledge on how to assemble the heart block. You are a great teacher. ATTACHING NEW MACHINE TO OLD DROP IN SEWING TABLE-POSSIBLE New machines are made for 'table top' use. The newer tables have a 'push down' apparatus to 'hide' the machine and some machines have a hole in the bottom so you can screw your machine down to the 'table' in these new cabinets.
