Jeannette Rankin Women’s Scholarship Fund (JRF) honors the legacy of an American woman of incredible spirit and determination Jeannette Rankin, the first woman to be elected to the United States Congress in 1916. OUR IMPACT – RANKIN FOUNDATION This year, 120 women are receiving hope, strength and financial assistance in the form of Jeannette Rankin scholarships. Since 1976, more than $3 million in scholarships have been awarded to more than 1,000 women all across the U.S. JRF Scholars are succeeding! 91% of JRF Scholars either graduated or continued on towards completing theirdegrees

I was born and raised in Putnam County, Georgia, which is a tiny, rural, conservative area (read: many cows) about an hour southof Athens.
HANNAH – RANKIN FOUNDATION Hannah is a renewal Scholar who is enrolled at SUNY Orange Community College and pursuing an Associates in Human Services. Through her career in human services she would like to help people with economic, social, parental, mental health, trauma and abuse issues.
