STATEMENT ON UNITED STATES IMMIGRATION AND REFUGEE POLICY Statement on United States Immigration and Refugee Policy. Our nation is a nation of immigrants. More than any other country, our strength comes from our own immigrant heritage and our capacity to welcome those from other lands. No free and prosperous nation can by itself accommodate all those who seek a better life or flee persecution. DINNER AND DANCING WITH PRINCE CHARLES AND PRINCESS DIANA Dinner and Dancing with Prince Charles and Princess Diana. The dinner for the Prince & Diana was a great success. It had not a hint of “State Dinner” flavor. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time. Ted G. had decorated the W.H. more beautifully than we’ve ever seen it. Leontyne Price sang wonderfully & then everyone danced like at aJunior Prom.
APRIL 1, 1967 ADDRESS OF GOVERNOR RONALD REAGAN TO Lafayette Hotel, Long Beach April 1, 1967. It is a pleasure to be here tonight,, talking again to the members of the California Republican Assembly, California s oldest volunteer Republican organization.. I have that warm feeling a person gets when he knows hes among friends friends who think like he does and have the same goals and aspirations.Could be Im especially conscious of this for the PROCLAMATION 4831 -- VICTIMS RIGHTS WEEKS, 1981 Proclamation 4831 -- Victims Rights Weeks, 1981. For too long, the victims of crime have been the forgotten persons of our criminal justice system. Rarely do we give victims the help they need or the attention they deserve. Yet the protection of our citizens -- to guard them from becoming victims -- is the primary purpose of our penallaws.
PROCLAMATION 5649 -- NATIONAL CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS WEEK The Congress, by Public Law 99 - 611, has designated the week beginning May 3, 1987, as ``National Correctional Officers Week'' and authorized and requested the President to issue a proclamation in observance of this event. Now, Therefore, I, Ronald Reagan, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim the week beginningMay 3
REMARKS AT A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR CREWMEMBERS OF THE U.S.S May 22, 1987. Our task today is simple and sad: to remember, to pay tribute to those we loved. For some of us here today, our love is the unquenchable, unforgetting love of a wife or child for a fallen father, of a mother or father for a fallen son.Jump to content

is the repository of presidential records for President Reagan’s administration.
