Take a picnic lunch and disembark at North Beach to explore the wild and spectacular north-western end of the island. North Beach and Mt Eliza from Kims Lookout, Lord Howe Island. There’s a short walking track to Old Gulch, and a longer, MUCH 7 DAYS FROM DARWIN TO BROOME VIA THE GREAT NORTHERN HIGHWAY Thank you for your question, TJ! 7 WONDERFUL WALKS IN INNES NATIONAL PARK 2 Cape Spencer Lighthouse (600 m return) Cape Spencer and Althorp Island Lighthouses, Innes National Park. This is the shortest of the walks in Innes National Park. The track from the car park to the lighthouse on the Cape runs along a ridgetop with massive cliffs on one side and exposed slopes running down to the pounding seas below onthe other.

WHY WYCLIFFE WELL IS A TOP AUSSIE TOWN, NORTHERN TERRITORY The surrounding plains are flat as a pancake. Even so, Wycliffe Well has its own mountain – Mount Wycliffe – built from cleverly painted corrugated iron nailed to the side of the machinery shed. Climbing it via the staircase leading from ground to summit is easy. From the top there are stunning views over the Wycliffe Well realm.ONLY IN OZ #3

Yes, it really IS the world’s largest deckchair – apparently authenticated in the Guiness Book of Records!! Once the record had been broken, the owners weren’t quite sure what to dowith it.

A few kilometres beyond Herberton, we’d crossed the range to clear skies, warmth, and a spectacular setting – another universe far, far away from yet another day of dampness.ONLY IN OZ #3

Yes, it really IS the world’s largest deckchair – apparently authenticated in the Guiness Book of Records!! Once the record had been broken, the owners weren’t quite sure what to dowith it.
