ABOUT Hello! My name is Rezel Kealoha, I am a food stylist, food photographer, recipe developer and food writer. I work with natural light in my home studio. MY MOM'S EPICURIOUS FAMOUS FILIPINO BBQ MARINADE 1 Inch of Ginger Peeled and Diced. 2 Teaspoons of Salt (omit if using Soy Sauce) 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper. First cut the pork into thin strips and set that aside before making the marinade. In a 1 gallon plastic bag or a huge deep baking tray mix the marinade. Add everything and mix well until the sugar has dissolved. SABA CON YELO RECIPE WITH CHIA SEEDS Saba Con Yelo is a super fast dessert or snack to make with some Saba, Ice, Milk and Chia. Super healthy and will cool you down in the heat. CREAMY CHIA VEGAN CASHEW MILK Instructions. Blend all ingredients in a blender for 2 minutes. Place chia seeds in bottom of a glass and pour strawberry milk over. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (ideally over night) to soften the chia seeds to have the same mouth feel as boba pearls. MALUNGGAY PESTO PASTA RECIPEPUTO BIÑAN RECIPE

Milo – The king of our ingredients. We are going to use this to both soak the lady fingers and use as our chocolate topping, because Milo Tiramisu! Milk – We will used this to make our Milo drink to replace the coffee.. Lady Fingers – A super dainty and delicate cookie traditionally used in Tiramisu. We are going to quickly dip that in the Milo mixture to use as the base of this dessert. HOW TO MAKE KESONG PUTI (FILIPINO WHITE CHEESE) Spoon about 1/2 a cup of cheese into the middle of a banana leaf square and fold the sides over to make a small square packet. Tie with some banana leaf strings. Repeat this process until you use up all the cheese and then place the packets in the refrigerator overnight. GINISANG KAMATIS AT ITLOG (SAUTEED TOMATOES WITH EGG To make Ginisang Kamatis at Itlog, start buy rough chopping the tomatoes into chunks. Season it with some salt and put on medium heat. After about 5 minutes the tomatoes will start to breakdown and become a little bit saucy. Turn down the heat to low and cover for 5 minutes to further sweat out the tomatoes to release the juices. HOME - REZEL KEALOHA Two Ingredient Ispahan Cake with Raspberry, Rose and Lychee. This two ingredient Ispahan Cake is made with a can of lychee sparkling water and a really good cake box mix. SABA CON YELO RECIPE WITH CHIA SEEDS Saba Con Yelo is a super fast dessert or snack to make with some Saba, Ice, Milk and Chia. Super healthy and will cool you down in the heat. SMALL BATCH KALAMANSI POUND CAKE Instructions. Pre-Heat the oven to 350F and spray and line the loaf tin with parchment paper. First mix together the flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl. Set that to the side. In another small bowl combine the milk, kalamansi juice and vanilla essence. HOW TO MAKE MALUNGGAY BREAD SHOKUPAN STYLE In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine bread flour, dried malunggay leaves, milk powder, sugar, salt and yeast. Mix well. Then add in the milk, and tangzhong. Using the bread hook, combine the ingredients until you get a shaggy dough. Lightly knead for 2 minutes until the dough comes together. TIBOK TIBOK RECIPE WITH CHOCOLATE AND STRAWBERRY LAYERS Put the chocolate and milk together in a small sauce pan and melt. Mix until nice and smooth. Add in the rice flour and mix well. Pour the mixture through a sieve over another bowl to get any lumps out. Pour the mixture back into the sauce pan and add the sugar. Cook the same way as the strawberry pudding. URARO (ARROWROOT) COOKIE RECIPE AND GLUTEN FREE! Instructions. Pre-Heat Oven to 300F and place a cookie sheet in the refrigerator. In a bowl mix together the arrowroot flour, sugar and salt. Then in a separate small bowl mix together the cooled melted butter, eggs and vanilla essence. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well. BOOZY TABLEA TSOKOLATE (FILIPINO HOT CHOCOLATE) Instructions. Drop two chocolate tablets in a sauce pan with a cup of water. Heat until the chocolate is melted and then add a shot of Lambanog. You can replace the Lambanong with any spirit that takes your fancy, but I like the little hint of coconut with my Boozy TableaTsokolate.

All you need to make a Lilikoi Posset are these 3 ingredients: Two Cups Heavy Cream or Whipping Cream. 2/3 Cup Sugar. Half a Cup of Passion Fruit Juice. I have made it with Coconut Cream and it works like a dream, so you can use that instead of the heavy cream to make it vegan. The passion fruit juice is also interchangeable. MALUNGGAY PESTO PASTA RECIPE Malunggay Pesto. Pesto is one of the easier sauces to make especially if you have a food processor or blender. There is zero cooking involved and the key here is fresh is best. In this recipe I used fresh malunggay leaves as I am lucky enough to be able to buy it from my local farmers market, Seafood City or 99 Ranch.. However you can make this with malunggay powder. FUDGY BROWNIES MADE WITH CASSAVA FLOUR How to make Brownies Made with Cassava Flour. In this grain free version I use coconut sugar and cassava flour to make it a touch healthier. This is what you will need to make my Brownies Made with Cassava Flour.. 1/2 Cup Vegan Butter CHRISTMAS SPICE POLVORON (THE NO BAKE FILIPINO SHORTBREAD Historical Path of Polvoron. This no bake cookie has traveled around the world. It has been said that earlier versions of Polvoron came to Spain via the Arabs during the Ottoman Empire. GINGER AND LEMONGRASS COCONUT COOLER The base of this drink is made by simmering a can of coconut milk with heaps of ginger and lemongrass over a low low heat. Then you let it cool overnight to fully infuse the coconut milk. EVERYTHING BUT THE BAGEL GOUGERES (CHEESE PUFFS) Pate Choux. The base recipe of these Everything But the Bagel Gougeres is a pastry called pate choux. It is this magical dough that is made from adding flour to boiling butter and water and then mixing someeggs in at the end.

Mix well. Transfer to a large serving platter. Top with burrata cheese and tuyo or capers. EVERYTHING BUT THE BAGEL GOUGERES (CHEESE PUFFS) Instructions. Pre-Heat oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silpat. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl and set next to the stove. Cut the butter into cubes and place in a sauce pan with the water. Melt the butter on low heat and then bringup to a quick boil.
VEGAN TROPICAL RUM NICKY RECIPE Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line the tart tin with pie dough and spoon in the filling. Dot the filling with the cubed butter. With the remaining pie dough cut into 8 or so strips. Make a lattice pattern by overlapping the strips over each other. Mix the date syurp and the milk to make a wash and brush over the pie. GINGER AND LEMONGRASS COCONUT COOLER Instructions. Place the coconut milk, ginger and lemongrass in a saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes until fragrant. Turn off the heat and cool to room temperature. Transfer the coconut infusion into a class container and place in the refrigerator. Take out the coconut infusion from the refrigerator and pour into a pitcher, add in thecoconut
CHRISTMAS SPICE POLVORON (THE NO BAKE FILIPINO SHORTBREAD Instructions. In a large skillet toast the almond flour over low heat. Keep moving around the almond flour with a wooden spoon constantly until it starts to get fragrant and smell toasty. This will take about 5 minutes. Place the toasted almond flour, coconut sugar, powdered milk, spices in a bowl.LILIKOI POSSET

I have made it with Coconut Cream and it works like a dream, so you can use that instead of the heavy cream to make it vegan. The passion fruit juice is also interchangeable. Pesto is one of the easier sauces to make especially if you have a food processor or blender. There is zero cooking involved and the key here is fresh is best. In this recipe I used fresh malunggay leaves as I am lucky enough to be able to buy it from my local farmers market, Seafood City or 99 Ranch.. However you can make this with malunggay powder. EVERYTHING BUT THE BAGEL GOUGERES (CHEESE PUFFS) Pate Choux. The base recipe of these Everything But the Bagel Gougeres is a pastry called pate choux.
