VIRTUAL DRIVES
Information. RocketLauncher supports all the popular CLI-supported virtual drive applications out there for windows. It is your choice to use what you want, but be careful to pick one that can mount the image extension types you use. Some do not support cue and that is usually a requirement in this hobby as many sets use them. At first I was missing d3dx9_42.dll so i grabbed that and put it in the emulator directory. I also installed DX runtimes and C++ 2010. I am using the same rom set I did on my old machine. If you do a search for the specific emulator/module name you should find any updated modules pretty easily. RetroArch is kinda the exception there WIN10 2004 - HYPERSPIN NO LONGER LOADING 06-27-2020 07:08 PM. for anyone whose windows.old folder got deleted and dont have a local dll to grab and have to download the sxs.dll, make sure its an older version. My solution is, if you have pc monitor 16:10 what i do is i overclocked my pc monitor 1680x1050 (16:10) resolution to 1866x1050 (16:9 ratio) with cru (custom resolution utillity) and 16:9 bezels fit perfectly on retroarch with aspect ratio 4:3 in games andnot stretched.

In all Metal Slug games you can use the service menu to activate Blood: ON but for some reason the Metal Slug 6 you only "white sweat" for blood in the arcade version. :eviltongue: I have attatched the files from the nvram folder of demul after I activated the blood. I imagined this question would have been answered long before now but did a search on the Modules forum for keyword "tampered" and didn't find it addressed. The bezels will be crafted in the either the largest or close to largest resolution for that aspect ratio. So 16:9 will be 2560x1440, 16:10 will be 2560x1600 and 4:3 will be 2048×1536. PROBLEM USING MULTI-DISC GAMES WITH 7ZIP SUPPORT ENABLED Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble getting 'some' of my disc based ROMs to load using 7zip support. -My games are all archived in .RAR files, I have enabled 7zip support in RL -I'm using RetroArch (Beetle PSX Core) to run my PS1 games -RocketLauncher is all up to date -Any single disc game (Ridge Racer (USA).rar for example) launched with RL - extracts to the temp directory then loads and plays RETROARCH BEZEL OVERLAYS The plan is to release 3 differen't packs, each for the three main aspect ratios 16:9, 16:10 and 4:3. The bezels will be crafted in the either the largest or close to largest resolution for that aspect ratio. So 16:9 will be 2560x1440, 16:10 will be 2560x1600 and 4:3 will be 2048×1536. RetroArch is kinda the exception there ROCKETLAUNCHER TROUBLESHOOTING Click the Logging Level drop down list. Select troubleshooting. Next time you launch a game with RocketLauncher, the generated log found at RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.log will contain all your troubleshooting info. Open this up in notepad and hit 7ZIP - ROCKETLAUNCHER WIKI RocketLauncher will first check if your rom exists in the archive before attempting to extract. Then it will extract to your 7z_Extract_Path and send the correct path and extension to your emulator to be launched. PASSWORD PROTECTED ZIP FILE [ARCHIVE RocketLauncher is a command line program that Front Ends call to launch emulators for cleaner launching and exiting. RocketLauncherUI can be used as a Front End on its own to test and launch your games and applications from. This file does not contain the additional (but not required) media that many of the features use. SEGA MODEL 2 EMULATOR CRASHES (NOT AN RL ISSUE) In the last 6 months I got a newer machine running win7 just like my old system. I grabbed the model 2 emulator today 1.1a and it just crashes. At first I was missing d3dx9_42.dll so i grabbed that and put it in the emulator directory. I also installed DX runtimes and C++ 2010. I am using the same rom set I did on my old machine. The only rom I have tried that does something other than crash BEZELS FOR MAME (CUSTOM FOR 16X9 RESOLUTIONS) dusanka: Alex, you call me to post here about your bezels for 16:10 monitors users. My solution is, if you have pc monitor 16:10 what i do is i overclocked my pc monitor 1680x1050 (16:10) resolution to 1866x1050 (16:9 ratio) with cru (custom resolution utillity) and 16:9 bezels fit perfectly on retroarch with aspect ratio 4:3 in games andnot stretched.

A quick, possibly obvious problem here I'm using demul, and for reasons related to demulshooter and light guns I have to have it in Windowed Fullscreen. The problem with this is when I boot into windowed fullscreen, I'm getting the sides of the screen left uncovered - this is a 16:9 screen, and the games are 4:3. Hi guys! In all Metal Slug games you can use the service menu to activate Blood: ON but for some reason the Metal Slug 6 you only "white sweat" for blood in the arcade version. :eviltongue: I have attatched the files from the nvram folder of demul after I activated the blood. Feel free to download and overwrite your files and see ifit works.

RocketLauncher is an abstraction layer that ultimately sets the standard in emulators and standardizes key mapping commands. Pause is the dream of any emulator menu. The modules break the barriers of compatibility. Rom Mapping solved the lives of collectors. RocketLauncher is definitely the last word in matters of emulators. The choice of Front End has become a matter of mere affinity for design. And besides, you are not forced to follow a single solution, like MESS, you keep using your favoriteemulator.
Clearly, much work remains to be done, but the idea and the execution borders on what we could call perfection. Quote from a fan.
ROCKETLAUNCHER IS:
* To make it easier for new users to launch emulators and games/applications. You never compile any of RocketLauncher's modules. This is important to remember. They are not meant to be run as stand-alone scripts. * Only require setting up rom paths and emulators across multiple Front Ends once. You are free to try many front ends or keep multiple installed and switch between them, but launch everything the same setup! Because RocketLauncher handles launching, you do not need to have, whatever front end you use, handle this.
