Qualification flights should still aim for an altitude of 800 feet within 40-43 seconds, per this year’s rules. At the National Finals, your rocket’s first flight goal will be 775 feet within 39-42 seconds. The second flight goal will be 825 feet within41-44 seconds.
PRESENTATION COMPETITION The updated Presentation Competition returns in 2021! Modeled after the same rules used at the International Rocketry Challenge, your team will have to create a presentation that succinctly explains how you came to your design, how you conducted and utilized your test flight information, and what lessons your team learned in not just rocketry,but also teamwork.

2021 TITLE I GRANT PROGRAM New to rocketry? The American Rocketry Challenge offers grants to Title I schools to provide resources and initial funding to help launch a rocketry program. 25 grants are available for the 2021 competition, all for schools that have not competed previously in the American Rocketry Challenge. The deadline to apply for a 2021 Title I grant is December11, 2020.
