ST. JUDE'S CHAPEL OF HOPE The tiny St. Jude's Chapel of Hope is very big in beauty. Located in the community of Trust in Madison County near Hot Springs (along the Appalachian Medley Scenic Byway), the roadside chapel is always open to the public for a peek inside.It was built in 1991 by the Baruito family after Beverly's miraculous recovery from cancer. FRENCH BROAD FALLS, MILL SHOALS WATERFALL After reaching the trail by the river, walk a few steps to the right to see a gorgeous twin waterfall featuring French Broad Falls and Mill Shoals (also called Shoal Creek Falls), both about 15 ft. high. This is the intersection of the north fork of the French Broad River and Shoal Creek. Typically held in downtown Dillsboro, the festival had to move a few miles due to road construction.This juried show with 40 master potters from 16 states has been named one of the Southeast's top 20 arts events for November by the Southeast Tourism Society. FRENCH BROAD FALLS, MILL SHOALS WATERFALL After reaching the trail by the river, walk a few steps to the right to see a gorgeous twin waterfall featuring French Broad Falls and Mill Shoals (also called Shoal Creek Falls), both about 15 ft. high. This is the intersection of the north fork of the French Broad River and Shoal Creek. There are boulders to sit on to soak in this beautiful GLASSMINE FALLS, WATERFALL ON BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY Glassmine Falls, Blue Ridge Parkway. Just a couple of miles north of the Craggy Gardens Visitor Center is a Blue Ridge Parkway overlook (Milepost 361.2) for Glassmine Falls. It's about seven miles south of Mt. Mitchell. At this stop, you'll see four waterfalls and cascades along a riverside hiking trail at the religious retreat named Living Waters in the Balsam Grove community. ST. JUDE'S CHAPEL OF HOPE The tiny St. Jude's Chapel of Hope is very big in beauty. Located in the community of Trust in Madison County near Hot Springs (along the Appalachian Medley Scenic Byway), the roadside chapel is always open to the public for a peek inside.It was built in 1991 by the Baruito family after Beverly's miraculous recovery from cancer.
