BENJAMIN'S ROOM
Benjamin had outgrown his nursery and was ready to transition to a toddler room. HEIDI'S ROOM
Heidi’s parents wanted to transition Heidi’s nursery to a toddler room when they moved house. The small room had to include storage for clothes and toys, a junior bed and leave enough room to play. To give it a similar soft feel to her sister Lola’s bedroom, we combined a lighter but similar tonal grey base with oak, adding whimsy withLOLA'S ROOM
Lola and Heidi’s parents had just moved house and were struggling to come up with ideas for their girls’ bedrooms. They wanted the rooms to have their own identity yet have a similar feel. We decided on a pretty French inspired style with quirky vintage details. Lola’s room is composed of soft tonal greys with a floral storage wall andTOBIAS' ROOM II
The brief was for a contemporary, grey based bedroom with a bunk bed and desk, re-using his house shaped cupboards. We chose a feature star wallpaper to offset the cupboards, using a loose star and sky theme throughout with accessories in ochre, grey, white and timber. The result is a bright, sunny room that feels calm at the same time. NURSERY INTERIOR DESIGN The brief was for a chic, timeless and relatively gender-neutral nursery. I designed a grey nursery with an eye on the future colour scheme for in the rest of the house, and accented with plums and violets. The inspiration for the room was a pretty blanket made withLiberty fabric.
BIRCH PLYWOOD AND PINE IN KIDS ROOMS I love birch plywood and natural pine in kids’ rooms interiors. It has associations with purity and simplicity, which seems a natural choice for children’s rooms. Bare wood looks great with any colour, from pastels and brights to more earthy tones. It brings warmth to monochrome schemes, plus it’s is an economical choice for DIYprojects.
