The C&C axle is a very popular conversion due to their narrower width (64 -66 ) when used with only one wheel. The weight savings on a standard full floating 14 bolt are substantial but take a look at the drums and pads on a ROLL CAGE CONNECTOR 1.5" This is for those applications where lateral shear is a factor. This style of coupler allows mounted items to be removed outward from the tube end, like removing a cork from a bottle.
