HOW TO REPOT A BULBOPHYLLUM ORCHID RVO is happy to share our step by step video demonstration on how to repot your bulbophyllum (bulbo) orchid. Bulbophyllum orchids never want to completely dry out and most appreciate bright (cattleya type light). Many vendors grow their bulbo in sphag moss as this medium allows them to water less frequently and when shipping the orchid, adds very little weight to the package. FRAGRANT LC. KAMADII Fragrant Lc. Kamadii. This is the 3rd time blooming for me. It has a lovely fragrance which is strong enough to smell when I walk by. Spicy, like sweet clove. I was disappointed last fall when it bloomed with no fragrance. The lip is an intense color, more purple than it looks in the photos. May 2nd, 2020, 10:14 PM #2. Sheryl.ORCHID NAMES

Provide plenty of air circulation to prevent fungus/mold from setting in. You will want to avoid low humidities and high temperatures as this will cause the plant to expend stored water at a faster rate. PHALAENOPSIS SPECIOSA VAR. TRICHOGLOTTIS BRACHIATA Trichoglottis brachiata. Always love the deep color and strong fragrance. 3 flowers only again this year. Don't think I'll ever see the 10+ again on this one but still love it! Porch/Patio. Three flowers or 10, it's fantastic. Love the color and the shape of the lip. PHRAGMIPEDIUM ACKER'S BEAUTY This is my Phrag. Acker's Beauty, (Phrag. kovachii X lindleyanum). It is a smaller size plant in a 3x3x4 pot. It is a vigorous grower. It spikes from late April to July, producing a series of sequential pink/purple blooms about 4 inches across with rich text and a good substance to its petals. Blooms will last 1 to 2 weeks in my greenhouse. It is a cross created by Chuck Ackers just a 3 years ago. PHRAG SCHLIMII 'WILCOX' AM/AOS Phrag schlimii 'Wilcox' AM/AOS. A bit of historical info on this one. This was awarded as a Phrag schlimii about 100 years ago. Most likely it is not a species but a Phrag Cardinale. Still the name holds.Attached Images.
URGENTLY NEED HELP SAVING PHAL ORCHID WITH ROTTED ROOTS Urgently need help saving phal orchid with rotted roots, questionable aerial roots. I've had this orchid for a couple years and it was reliably growing new leaves and roots. Recently I noticed it's leaves were becoming limp, and a few turned yellow and fell off. I chalked this up to a recent move but its been two months now and upon further MILTONIA - BROWN SPOTS - RV-ORCHIDWORKS.COM Miltonia - Brown Spots. Hello, (from Edmonds, WA) I just picked up a Miltonia in bloom (purple and white blooms). As with all plants that I bring in from the grocery store, I've isolated it from other plants and have treated it with pest/fungus spray (neem oil, H202 conc., soap, hot water). I decided to repot it, and while tickling the rootsSTLMA KELLY 'LEA'

It is a small plant in height, maybe 6-7 inches, but pretty well fills a 10" shallow pot (I think someone needed to make room in their greehouse). AN APP TO HELP MONITOR ORCHIDS? Hello, Just curious, are you guys using an Application to monitor your orchids? There are various apps that are now available to help taking care of our plants but I'm not sure those apply with orchids too. Thanks in advance!
RO SYSTEM QUESTIONS
I'd appreciate any advice anyone has to offer on how to determine what is a good RO system for me. I have well water, and I want to get one to put under the sink in my new greenhouse addition. (I got a TDS meter and it reads about 140 - 160 at different times). I'm not sure what to look for. I want something easy to maintain and use. my humidifiers in my house get a pink slime inside if I* Register
