SAISD FOUNDATION
Our investments in music, strings, theater and other fine arts programs and partnerships create opportunities for our students to grow in creative expression, engage in new art forms and enhance SAISD’s fine arts offerings. ABOUT US - SAISD FOUNDATION Operating as an independent 501 (c) (3) public charity, the SAISD Foundation works to ignite innovation and passion for student success across San Antonio ISD and across our San Antonio community. In this role, the SAISD Foundation supports investments in classrooms, schools, and the District that benefit our students and teachers.SCHOLARSHIPS
The SAISD Foundation accepts donations, planned gifts and bequests from alumni, businesses, and community donors to support the dreams and aspirations of SAISD students pursuing all forms of post secondary education. The scholarships and gap funding managed by the SAISD Foundation are done so in partnership with the College and CareerReadiness

Book Buddies provides free books for SAISD students in grades PK-8. Allowing these students to start and grow their own home libraries. The program provides engaging, grade-level appropriate reading materials for children to read at critical times in the summer and during school holidays. Book Buddies works with book resellers andaccepts books
MEET THE TEAM
Stephanie Smith. Office and Scholarships Manager. . Stephanie joined the SAISD Foundation in 2016. She is the first point of contact for the Foundation and is available to assist Monday-Friday from 9 am-5 pm. Stephanie supports the foundation with bookkeeping, donor database entry, and donor stewardship. She also manages the 100 BOOK BUDDIES, A NEW PROGRAM OF THE SAISD FOUNDATION, GETS The San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) Foundation is expanding its support of student experiences in SAISD through Book Buddies, a program providing free books for SAISD students in grades PK-8, allowing them to start and grow their own home libraries. THE DEVER LEGACY SOCIETY OF THE SAISD FOUNDATION Leaving a Lasting Legacy.
