See SALOME 9.6.0 Release Notes for more details about this release.. SALOME 9.6.0 supports the following platforms (64-bits architecture only): Linux Debian 8, 9 and 10; Linux CentOS 6, 7 and 8; Linux Fedora26, 30 and 32
DOWNLOAD PAGE
Just download the file and execute it to install SALOME. The installer supports options, run it with "-h" to see full list of available options. This package includes Debian Squeeze layer, all the pre-requisites and SALOME 7.7.1 binaries. It is known to work on Linuxdistributions
SALOME GEOMETRY USER'S GUIDE: PARTITION Arguments: Name + 2 lists of shapes (the shapes from the first list will be intersected with the shapes from the second list) + Resulting Type of shape. As far as the partition of two objects can produce any type of geometrical objects, Resulting type box allows choosing the preferable result, i.e. a solid, a shell, a list of faces, etc. The Resulting type has to be equal or lower than the SALOME GEOMETRY USER'S GUIDE: VIEWING GEOMETRICAL OBJECTS Newly created or imported geometrical objects are added as items in the Object Browser and displayed in the OCC 3D Viewer.. See the corresponding topic about the Operations available in the Object Browser for Geometry module.. OCC 3D Viewer is described in the documentation on GUI module.. I tried the command killSalomeWithPort.py and name of the port but when I run the 'ps x | grep salome' again there is still a a port used by SALOME. To do so, you can create 1D elements (edges, splines) that we call edges, with different tools.. Hello Lucas, This works only with Salome 7.3.0 (or later): 1- Import your STL file into the Geometry module. 2- Select your imported object in the study tree and go to New Entity > Build > Solid. 3- In the Mesh module, select your solid in the study tree and go to Mesh > Create Mesh. 4- Set the Algorithm to "Netgen 1D-2D-3D". Regarding your case, I have forgotten that in case of using application skeleton scripts, i.e. runAppli, runSession etc the .omniORP_PortManager.cfg is created not in the home directory but in the USERS subfolder of your application skeleton directory. SALOME can be used as a STANDALONE APPLICATION for generation of the CAD model, its preparation for the numerical calculations and post-processing of the calculation results. SALOME can also be used as a PLATFORM FOR INTEGRATION of the external third-party numerical codes to produce a new application for the full life-cycle management of CAD models. SALOME CORE FEATURES * Supports interoperability between CAD modeling and computation software (CAD-CAE link). * Facilitates integration of new components into heterogeneous systems for the numerical computation. * Sets priority to the multi-physics coupling between computationsoftwares.
