SALT LICK CELLARS. Right next door to the restaurant in Driftwood, Texas. Stop by for a tasting, or grab a bottle to enjoy with your meal! Come Raise a Glass! Visit us in Round Rock, Texas. Curbside pickup available from 11 AM - 8 PM. 3350 East Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78665. (512) 386-1044. THE STORE | SALT LICK BBQ Preheat oven to 350 degrees, baste with Salt Lick Secret Recipe Sauce, place on wire rack and cook for 10 minutes. Remove ribs, reduce heat to 225 degrees, baste with sauce again and heat for approximately 25-30 minutes. To retain original smokehouse flavor and moisture, do not overheat. Cooking times and temperatures can vary from oven tooven.
ABOUT | SALT LICK BBQ Thurman and his two sons built a huge barbeque pit. Thurman would go to the pit on Thursday night and start cooking. He stayed for the weekend, sleeping on a cot, until all the meat sold. He kept coming home earlier and earlier. After a few months, the boys and Thurman built a little screen porch around the pit. The Salt Lick has grownfrom there.
